Travel Information

The conference venue and the four hotels listed in the on-line registration page are located in 3A, 3B, 3C in WALKING MAP (page 20-21 in the guidebook available at the above link). Hotel Leo Palace Sendai is just next to Sendai Washington Hotel.

Transportation from Sendai Airport

To get to the town area of Sendai city, you first need to take a highway bus (40 min., 910 yen) to Sendai Station West Exit Bus Terminal. The highway buses stop at (or near) Bus Stop No. 2. See TRANPORTATION/INDEX (page 26-27 in the guidebook).

Transportation from Sendai Station to the conference venue and the hotels

Take a bus 710, 713, 715 or 719 from Bus Stop No. 9 (see TRANPORTATION/INDEX). When you get in the bus, do not forget to get a boarding ticket.

To Sendai International Center:
Get off at (Hakubutsukan/Kokusai Center Mae, Sendai City Museum/Sendai International Center) (5 stops).
To Hotel Leo Palace Sendai/Sendai Washington Hotel:
Get off at (Omachi Nishi-Koen Mae) (3 stops, 100 yen).
To Sendai Excel Hotel Tokyu:
Get off at (Bansuisodo Mae) (2 stops, 100 yen).
To Hotel Pearl City Sendai:
Get off at (Aobadori Ichibancho) (1 stop, 100 yen) or at (Bansuisodo Mae) (2 stops, 100 yen).
