The Division of Mathematics is on the 6th and 7th floors of the GSIS Building (G01), which is located in the central part (Area G) of Aobayama Campus, Tohoku University.

Access to Sendai

  • By Flight: Sendai International Airport (SDJ) has regular international flights to many East Asian cities and domestic cities. (Sendai Airport Access Line directly connects to Sendai Station. 650 JPY. 17–25 minutes.)
  • By Tohoku Shinkansen (Bullet Train): About 1 hour and 40 minutes from Tokyo.

  • By Subway (Tozai Line): Get off at "Aobayama Station". 250 JPY. 9 minutes. Exit North 1.
  • By Taxi: About 2,000 JPY.
