The Research Center for Pure and Applied Mathematics (RCPAM) was established on December 7, 2012, as part of the Graduate School of Information Sciences (GSIS), Tohoku University.

RCPAM brings together the group of mathematicians at GSIS and aims at promoting front-line research activities, covering a diverse range of topics in both mathematics and its interdisciplinary applications.
